Web Services for Management (WS-Management) makes Windows Vista and Windows 7 easier to manage remotely. An industry-standard Web services protocol for protected remote management of hardware and software, WS-Management—along with the proper software tools—allows administrators to run scripts and perform other management tasks remotely.
